As an Engineer (m/f/d) for Space Applications, you will work at the intersection of materials science, photovoltaics, and aerospace engineering—bringing innovations from concept to flight-qualified solutions.


Your Mission

You will design and optimize packaging and integration solutions for solar cells that must withstand extreme conditions—from vacuum and radiation to severe temperature cycles and mechanical stress during launch.

In doing so, you ensure that our technologies meet the highest standards in performance, reliability, and lifetime.


What to Expect

  • Development of innovative solar cell packaging solutions for space applications
  • Work on highly complex systems with a focus on materials, interfaces, and reliability
  • Ownership of technical design, qualification, and advancement of flight-ready hardware
  • Analysis of degradation mechanisms and development of robust solutions
  • Close collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and international partners

Your Profile

  • Degree in engineering, physics, materials science, or a comparable field
  • Experience in a high-tech environment (e.g., packaging, photovoltaics, electronics, or materials)
  • Understanding of the interaction between design, materials, and environmental conditions
  • Passion for innovation and challenging development projects
  • Very good command of English
