We are currently on the lookout for a passionate and talented Perovskite Chemistry Expert to join our R&D team and push the boundaries of perovskite-silicon tandem solar cell technology. Your Role: Driving Innovation in Tandem Solar Cells
As a vital member of our dynamic and international R&D team, you will play a crucial role in advancing our high-efficiency perovskite-silicon tandem solar cell technology. Your expertise will not only strengthen our technology leadership but also drive innovations toward commercial-scale applications.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Represent the company in international standardization and certification bodies (e.g., IEC, ISO, UL, TÜV) and actively drive the development, revision, and implementation of industry standards, testing methodologies, and certification requirements for Perovskite-Silicon Tandem technologies.
- Serve as the primary interface between external committees and internal R&D, technology, quality, and product teams, ensuring alignment of standardization activities with business and technology objectives.
- Monitor and assess existing and emerging standards, regulations, and certification requirements, identifying opportunities to introduce innovative technologies into future industry frameworks.
- Prepare technical position papers, argumentation strategies, data-driven analyses, and decision-making materials to support management and committee participation.
- Analyze technical, certification, and market data to evaluate impacts on product qualification, reliability, compliance, and market access.
- Track competitors’ certification activities, technology qualifications, and standardization strategies, providing actionable insights on industry trends and market developments.
Your Profile: Expertise Meets Passion
We are seeking a self-driven and innovative scientist or engineer with a robust background in chemistry for perovskite and/or tandem solar cell technology.
Your Qualifications:
- Degree in engineering, physics, materials science, chemistry, renewable energy, or a related technical field; a PhD is preferred.
- Proven experience in standardization, certification, product qualification, reliability engineering, or technology development, ideally within the photovoltaic, semiconductor, or related industries.
- Strong understanding of international standards and certification frameworks (e.g., IEC, ISO, UL) and their application to technology and product development.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret technical, certification, and market data and translate findings into clear recommendations and decision proposals.
- Experience in preparing technical position papers, presentations, and stakeholder communications for both technical and management audiences.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across international and cross-functional teams.
- Fluent English communication skills and willingness to travel internationally; additional language skills, particularly German, are an advantage.
