We are currently seeking a Team Lead for Integration & Failure Analysis to build, guide, and develop a high-performing team addressing critical performance and reliability challenges.

Your Role: Leading Teams & Driving Execution

As Team Lead, you will be responsible for building and managing a dedicated R&D group, ensuring delivery of key results in integration and failure analysis, and driving execution in close collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders in the field of advanced tandem solar cell technologies.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Development:

  • Build, lead, and develop a highly skilled team of scientists and engineers
  • Foster a culture of analytical thinking, ownership, and collaboration
  • Coach and support team members in their technical and professional growth

Project & Delivery Ownership:

  • Define and manage priorities, roadmaps, and deliverables
  • Ensure timely execution of integration and failure analysis activities
  • Align closely with R&D, production, and management stakeholders

Integration & Failure Analysis Oversight:

  • Oversee root cause investigations and deep-dive analyses
  • Ensure structured use of process data, metrology, and imaging
  • Drive the development and maintenance of failure catalogues and knowledge systems

Cross-Functional Coordination:

  • Act as interface between teams and departments
  • Ensure alignment between technology development and manufacturing needs
  • Translate business and technology requirements into actionable plans

Continuous Improvement & Strategy:

  • Drive improvements in process understanding, yield, and reliability
  • Contribute to technology and organizational strategy
  • Establish efficient workflows, tools, and processes

Your Profile: Leadership Meets Technical Expertise

We are looking for a strong leader with a solid technical background and proven ability to deliver results through teams.

Your Qualifications:

  • Degree in science or engineering (PhD preferred)
  • Several years of experience in photovoltaics, semiconductors, or related industries
  • Experience in team leadership or project management
  • Solid understanding of integration, device behaviour, and/or failure analysis
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Ability to translate complex topics into clear direction and decisions
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Very good English (German is a plus)
