We are currently on the lookout for a passionate and talented Tandem Solar Cell Device Expert to join our R&D team and push the boundaries of perovskite-silicon tandem solar cell technology. Your Role: Driving Innovation in Tandem Solar Cells

As a vital member of our dynamic and international R&D team, you will play a crucial role in advancing our high-efficiency perovskite-silicon tandem solar cell technology. Your expertise will not only help strengthen our technology leadership but also help drive innovations toward commercial-scale applications.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Drive the development of high-efficiency tandem solar cells in our state-of-the-art R&D facility in Thalheim near Leipzig/Halle/Berlin.
• Focus your research and development efforts on the fabrication of perovskite-silicon tandem solar cells, emphasizing cost efficiency and mass production suitability.
• Collaborate closely within our international, interdisciplinary R&D and manufacturing network to identify and guide development activities.
• Initiate experiments and monitor their execution at critical points.
• Produce high-quality evaluations and reports of your findings, providing clear decision-making templates for management.
• Support the introduction of new developments into mass production at our international manufacturing sites and address any challenges that arise.
• Actively participate in team discussions, contribution ideas for new research directions and development branches.

Your Profile: Expertise Meets Passion

We are seeking a self-driven and innovative scientist or engineer with a robust background in perovskite and/or tandem solar cell technology.

Your Qualifications:

• A degree in engineering or science (PhD preferred).
• Extensive knowledge of perovskite and/or tandem solar cells, particularly perovskite-on-silicon tandem structures.
• Ideally, experience in statistical data analysis and Design of Experiments (DoE).
• Preferably, industry experience in photovoltaics or semiconductor technology.
• A goal-oriented, systematic, and analytical approach to problem-solving.
• Strong teamwork and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with statistical software is a plus.
• Very good spoken and written English skills; proficiency in German is a bonus.
• Willingness to travel internationally.
