We are currently on the lookout for a passionate and talented PVD/CVD/ALD Deposition Process Expert to join our R&D team and push the boundaries of perovskite-silicon tandem solar cell technology. Your Role: Driving Innovation in Tandem Solar Cells

As a vital member of our dynamic and international R&D team, you will play a crucial role in advancing our high-efficiency perovskite-silicon tandem solar cell technology. Your expertise will not only help strengthen our technology leadership but also help drive innovations toward commercial-scale applications.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Innovation in Action: Evaluate, develop, and implement coating processes for the production of highly efficient tandem solar cells, focusing on cost efficiency, reliability, and scalability for mass production.
• Driving Innovation: Develop creative solutions for complex challenges in PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition), CVD (Chemical Vapor Deposition) and ALD (Atomic Layer Deposition) processes for solar cells. Expand your expertise while fostering progress and growth with a forward-looking approach.
• Innovation Implementation: Support our global production facilities in implementing coating processes. Your willingness to travel and intercultural competence will be key assets.
• Technology Trendsetter: Lead the development of innovative ideas and act as a driving force for creative solutions that align with our corporate vision and goals.
• Visionary Experimenter: Strategically design and conduct experiments, analyse results, and continuously improve products, processes, and equipment.

Your Profile: Expertise Meets Passion

We are seeking a self-driven and innovative scientist or engineer with a robust background in thin-film deposition technology.

Your Qualifications:

• A degree in Physics, Chemistry, or Process Engineering (PhD preferred).
• Experience with PVD and/or CVD and/or ALD processes and, ideally, knowledge of perovskite-on-silicon tandem solar cells.
• Preferably, industry experience in photovoltaics or semiconductor technology.
• A goal-oriented, systematic, and analytical working style.
• Strong communication skills, teamwork, assertiveness, and organizational ability.
• Proficiency in MS Office and statistical tools.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in German is a bonus.
• Willingness to travel internationally.
